When you first start dating someone, you want to make sure that you are giving him or her some information about yourself but you want to make sure that it is not too much information. You want to make sure that you are not giving away too much as to spoil the fun. Dating is all about taking time to get to know one another. Of course, you are not to hide everything about yourself because you will never really know each other and the dating will never progress into anything more.

You want to be the enigma, which means you want to remain a little mysterious. You want to keep the person you are dating guessing a little. This helps to keep the romance and the surprise element alive.
